Very good friendly helpful staff who took great care. Made sure we were happy at every stage. Half the cost of another local company and £1100 less than man and van courier company. Used 4 vans and lots of staff who worked so hard. Office staff very nice. Provided as much boxes tape and tissue as needed included in the price. None of that expensive insurance upselling.

We were very pleased with the Forfar removals team. Before the removal day we were supplied with a sufficient number of packing boxes. On the day the team arrived early and worked very well. Our move out went well however because of circumstances beyond our control we were unable to get the key to our new house until late in the afternoon which mean a significant hold up for the removal team. They responded however with efficiency and courtesy. We would certainly recommend Forfar removals.

Came with 2 "smaller" vans which we instantly knew wouldn't be enough, even though they physically came out and priced the job so knew how much we had. Still alot of items left in storage because they "couldn't fit everything in, and if you want us to lift it, you'll have to book us again and pay again...". Generally I was very satisfied with the service and the way the men worked - and their patience with me when when I was so badly prepared on the day. My only criticism would be that some of the boxes finished up in the wrong rooms in my new house as they had been used several times previously and multiple written labelling was misinterpreted in some cases. Perhaps colour coded labels for different removals would have been better.

I was very pleased with my furniture removal. Big items were covered well. However, I was disappointed with the packing of pictures and photographs - they were not covered at all and were packed tightly together and some photos had glass broken and some pictures had frames damaged. The pictures were stacked against each other. There were so many boxes to empty (about 50) and did not see the damage until later.I wish I had packed them myself. Some photos had glass broken.

Forfar Removals are just along the road from our old house so they were an obvious choice. We weren’t a particularly big move, just 2 trips in a smaller size van to the other side of town. I don’t have a lot of experience of moving house but the price seemed reasonable. The 2 guys were very punctual and thorough. No mishaps. Would recommend them.
